After the Bielski Otriad was liberated on July 9, 1944, over 1250 men, women and children left the forest to rebuild their lives.  Scholars and survivors of the group estimate that over 10,000 people are alive today because of the Bielski brothers.

This registry seeks to gather information regarding survivors of the Bielski partisans.   Information recorded here will assist in the  collecting of survivor and second-generation testimony, provide help for those doing genealogical research and provide researchers with a more accurate count of the groups survivors and their descendants.

Registry is voluntary and family members may register names of survivors posthumously.  Please register below.  Visit this page for our statement on Protection of Privacy.
